Tell us about your business or your organization. What is your position and what are your responsibilities?

I am currently the director of Jaws Girls Lacrosse Club and the head girls lacrosse coach at Ponte Vedra High School. At Jaws, I oversee the overall vision, culture and day-to-day operations of the club, including program development, practice and season planning, player development and communication with families. At the high school level, I lead the varsity team with a focus on building competitive, accountable athletes and a strong team-first culture.

What do you like best about what you do?

I’ve been around lacrosse since third grade and have a true passion for the sport. What I love most is helping athletes discover that same passion while developing both athletically and personally. I get to work with athletes from PK through collegiate levels, build meaningful relationships, and spend most days outside doing what I love.

What is a typical day like for you?

Most days start with a workout at my favorite gym, F45 Ponte Vedra Beach, followed by time on the field training athletes in private or group settings and running team practices. When I’m not on the field, I’m usually behind the scenes planning seasons, planning practices, watching film, communicating with coaches, coordinating events, creating graphics for social media, and handling the many details that keep our club and high school program running.

Tell us about your background, especially as it applies to your career or involvement with your organization.

I am originally from Maryland, where I grew up playing lacrosse and was fortunate to compete at a high level as a 3X NCAA National Champion. Those experiences shaped my approach to coaching and development. My goal is to continue elevating the level of lacrosse in North Florida by creating positive, competitive environments where athletes can grow and succeed.

Are you from this area originally, or did you settle here from somewhere else? What brought you here?

I am not originally from the area, I grew up in Maryland, but I moved here from Lakeland, Florida, where I was an assistant coach at Florida Southern College.

What do you like best about living here?

Growing up in Maryland, I always dreamed of living somewhere warm and near the beach. I ended up in Florida and couldn’t be happier. What I love most is the strong sense of community and the relationships I’ve built with families, athletes and coaches over the years. The support and connection within this area make it a special place to live and work.

How do you like to spend your free time?

When I have free time, I spend it with my daughter and try to give her my full attention. As a single mom, family time is incredibly important to me. Outside of that, I enjoy staying active, being outdoors and spending time near the beach.
