Jessie Miller of Ponte Vedra Beach recently had a special meeting with Florida First Lady Ann Scott, who came to Ponte Vedra in January to kick off “Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida!” Scott offered the 10-year-old congratulations on earning her second-degree black belt in ATA Songahm Taekwondo Karate. Miller, who first met Scott at a competition in Tallahassee in 2016, trains at the Karate America dojang located in Ponte Vedra Beach.
