Monique Burr Foundation welcomes Woods
Paul Woods has joined the Monique Burr Foundation for Children as the organization’s new development director.
“The MBF Child Safety Matters™ program is expanding throughout Florida and the U.S. and Paul’s background, skills and enthusiasm are ideal for the foundation’s critical development work,” Executive Director Lynn Layton said. “He is dedicated to helping us raise funds to support this program that has been proven to prevent child bullying, cyberbullying and all types of abuse. We are delighted to welcome Paul to our team.”
Woods holds a bachelor’s degree from Pensacola Christian College and brings more than 15 years of experience in fundraising, sponsorship development and event management to the foundation.
“I look forward to using my skills to focus on donor support for the foundation and expand the use of the MBF Child Safety Matters™ program to prevent child abuse,” he said.
Mizrahi joins River Garden
Mauri Mizrahi has joined River Garden Hebrew Home as assistant administrator.
A Jacksonville native, Mizrahi is a physical therapist and board-certified geriatric clinical specialist with a long association with River Garden.
“Coming back to work at River Garden is like coming home,” she said, noting that she is both “honored and humbled by this incredible opportunity.”
