St. Johns County announces Good Friday office hours
In observance of Good Friday, all departments of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners, St. Johns County administrative offices, Tax Collector’s Office, Property Appraiser’s Office, Supervisor of Elections Office and Clerk of Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s Office will be closed on Friday, April 3. All offices will resume standard business hours on Monday, April 6.
All St. Johns County library branches will be closed on April 3 and resume standard business hours on Saturday, April 4. In recognition of the Easter holiday, all St. Johns County library branches will also be closed on Sunday, April 5, and resume standard business hours on April 6.
Garbage and recycling collection schedules will not be delayed. The Tillman Ridge and Stratton Road transfer stations will maintain standard business hours. Additionally, residents can download the Recycle Coach app or go to www.recyclestjohns.com to obtain curbside collection schedules, sign up for alerts and quickly learn how to properly dispose of different household waste materials.
Essential tremor meeting focus: physical therapy
First Coast Essential Tremor: Meet, Greet & Educate will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, at Baptist HealthPlace in Nocatee, 400 Colonnade Drive, Suite 130, Ponte Vedra.

Primrose students donate 3,547 books
Preschoolers at Primrose schools across Jacksonville recently delivered 3,547 books to St. John CARES as part of Og’s Bountiful Book Drive.
Children ages 3 and 4 across the country took their love of reading beyond the classroom and called on families and the community to collect and donate books for this year’s drive.
Since 2021, Primrose schools nationwide have donated more than 387,600 books to local organizations, promoting literacy in honor of National Reading Month.
This initiative is named after “Og the Bookworm,” a Primrose character who embodies the spirit of giving and encourages a lifelong love for reading.
Farmers market open every Friday
The Ponte Vedra Friday Farmers Market takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday at Palm Valley Outdoors, 377 S. Roscoe Blvd., Ponte Vedra Beach, offering fresh produce, local farm goods and a welcoming space to connect with neighbors and small businesses.

Vicker’s Landing boutique sale is April 7
The public is welcome to the April 7 monthly Vicker’s Landing Boutique sale, held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Vicker’s Landing Sawgrass Community Building, 1000 Vicker’s Landing Way.
The sale features jewelry, both fine and designer costume pieces, framed art, antiques and household furnishings, and knick-knacks with many unique and fun items for $1. New is a Chef’s Market with many delicious items prepared by the Vicker’s chef.

Garden Club of St. Augustine plans flower show
A juried flower show and bonzai exhibit in April will help celebrate the Garden Club of St. Augustine’s 100th year with the theme “A Century of Flowers.” View a variety of horticulture, flowering plants, small and large designs, specimens and creations following NGC requirements with blue, red, white and special place ribbons awarded by jurors. Visitors will be able to vote for the “People’s Choice.” The show will be held 2-5 p.m. Friday, April 24, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Southeast Branch Library, 6670 U.S. 1 South, St. Augustine.
