Gathering to focus on eco-causes
Go Green Drinks Jax, a new monthly gathering where eco-minded professionals connect, share best practices and build a stronger green movement in Jacksonville, will meet 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Ink Factory Brewing, 602 Shetter Ave., Jacksonville Beach.
The topic for February is “Building a Unified Force with Jacksonville Eco-causes.” Hosted by Beaches Go Green.
Drinks will be available for purchase from INK. Light snacks provided by Beaches Go Green. Hard Pressed Food Truck items available for purchase.

Learn floral arrangement at local event
The Garden Club of St. Augustine will host “Fun with Flowers” at 1 p.m. March 10.
Designer Renee Jamison of the Floralines Guild of the Garden Club of St. Augustine will lead each participant in creating a professional-style floral arrangement. Open to the public at the clubhouse at 3440 Old Moultrie Road. Admission: $40 includes light refreshments and all materials (fresh flowers, greenery, container and oasis).
