Democratic Club to host congressional candidates

The Ponte Vedra Democratic Club will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Road, Ponte Vedra Beach. Meet two of the Democratic candidates running for Florida’s U.S. Congressional District 5. Mark Heggestad and Eli Johnson will speak in a “Meet the Press” format where they will answer questions on topics such as health care, affordability, immigration and Middle East conflicts.
