Essential Tremor Support Group to meet
Do you suspect you have — or a loved one has — essential tremor, a condition often involving the shaking of head, hands and or legs? ET is not Parkinson’s, though it’s similar but much more prevalent and not well known.
Attend a meeting of the Essential Tremor Support Group at 11 a.m. June 3 at the Baptist HealthPlace in Nocatee (400 Colonnade Road, unit 130, Ponte Vedra) to hear from Stephen Morio, territory manager for Insightec Focused Ultrasound, who will speak about an incisionless surgical treatment now offered in Jacksonville.
For further information or to RSVP, contact Jan Kary at jkary@verizon.net.
Family seining activity planned
Join a guided family seining activity from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Guana Tolomato Matanzas (GTM) National Estuarine Research Reserve.
