Daylilies to be garden club topic
The Ribault Garden Club will hold a Garden Center Day at 10 a.m. Nov. 20 at 705 Second Ave. North, Jacksonville Beach. The topic will be “Daylilies & 100,000 Cultivars” with guest speaker Connie Gladding, president, North Florida Daylily Society, and Master Gardener, UF/IFAS, Clay County.

PLAYERS seeks local artists for Military Appreciation Day
THE PLAYERS Championship is inviting talented individuals and groups from Northeast Florida to audition for a special performance opportunity during the Military Appreciation Ceremony and Concert, taking place on March 10.
As part of this annual tradition honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation’s military, THE PLAYERS is accepting audition submissions from vocal performers interested in singing during the ceremony. Separately, THE PLAYERS is also accepting applications from American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters to sign the same song and the National Anthem as part of the performance.
Interested vocal performers should submit a video clip of their rendition singing “America the Beautiful,” and ASL interpreters should submit a video of their signed performance of the same song, by 5 p.m. Jan. 7. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges, and selected performers will be notified via email.

Farmers market open every Friday

Grief support group to meet
A grief support group meets on the third Wednesday of every month at St. Paul's Catholic Church in the Fr. Kelly Room of the Kelly Athletic Center, 212 Fifth Street N., Jacksonville Beach. Beach exploration planned
Join volunteers at the Guana Tolomato Matanzas (GTM) National Estuarine Research Reserve for a beach exploration from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.
Collect seashells, search for shark teeth and learn about coastal wildlife.
Meet at the GTM Research Reserve Visitor Center, 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach.
