Free estuaries event continues Saturday
National Estuaries Week concludes Saturday, Sept. 27, with more fun activities for all ages. GTM Research Reserve, 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, is the place to be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for educational activities and hands-on learning stations, environmental and local vendors, live music all day by Taco Cat, story time with author Mischele Miller at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and delicious food from African Love Kitchen and BFND. Alzheimer caregiver support group to meet
The Alzheimer Association’s Caregiver Support Group will meet virtually from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month, Oct. 8. The group offers a safe, confidential, supportive environment and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. Meetings also educate and inform participants about dementia and help them develop methods and skills to solve problems. To register, call the Alzheimer Association’s Help Desk at 800-272-3900.
Farmers market open every Friday
The Ponte Vedra Friday Farmers Market takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday at Palm Valley Outdoors, 377 S. Roscoe Blvd., Ponte Vedra Beach, offering fresh produce, local farm goods and a welcoming space to connect with neighbors and small businesses.

Essential tremor meeting is Oct. 7
First Coast Essential Tremor: Meet, Greet & Educate is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Baptist HealthPlace in Nocatee, 400 Colonnade Drive, unit 130, Ponte Vedra.
The meeting will feature an informative presentation by Kristen Kowall, representative for the Move-D brace for people with essential tremor or Parkinson’s.
