The Ponte Vedra High School Lady Sharks Golf Team won the Regional Tournament held at Blue Sky Golf Club in Jacksonville Oct. 18.
The team placed first with a team score of 310. Junior Sophie Membrino carded a 70, Senior Captain Sara McKevitt carded a 74, Reni Jancsik 82, Megan Burke 84, and Kayleigh Baker 87.
Nease placed second with a team score of 311.
Other participating schools were Pedro Menendez, Middleburg, Bishop Kenny, Stanton College Preparatory School, Ridgeview and West Nassau.
The Ponte Vedra and Nease teams will advance to the State Tournament along with individuals Victoria Green of Middleburg and Lacey Tucker of Bishop Kenny.
