Roaring Pines Motor Club in development

Exciting progress is being made for Florida’s First Coast luxury motorsports facility, Roaring Pines Motor Club. Owned by the father-son team of Scott Lagasse Sr. and Scott Lagasse Jr., the Mosler Family and founding investors, this multifaceted car-culture utopia has an abundance of world-class amenities for club members and will serve as a fun event space for giving back to the community.

Scott Lagasse Jr. shared his excitement for the recent completion of all permitting requirements. Early site development is planned to begin this December.

The project includes a 3.5-mile, 20-turn road course designed to earn FIA Grade 2 certification, and it can be split into two separate layouts: a flowing 2.65-mile circuit featuring a 4,000-foot-long straight, esses, banked corners and numerous elevation changes and a tight .85-mile street course designed to simulate urban layouts. Paving of the course is expected to be completed late next year. The ownership team are proudly working with CUBE 3 Architecture and RIMROCK Company for design and construction.

The world-class clubhouse will contain a car museum and a multipurpose event space on the first floor. The second floor will have additional event space and offices. The third floor will feature a luxury fitness center, restaurant and lounge. Club members will get access to the exclusive fourth-floor viewing platform overlooking the motor club. Additional amenities include a karting track and a boutique hotel.

Club members will also have opportunities to live on-site. Individuals can purchase garage loft units located trackside, with beautiful lakeside or forest views. Luxury garage villas and home sites will also be available. All three residential options feature direct track access.

TeamSLR, the reigning champion of Trans Am’s CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series, will soon relocate its headquarters to Roaring Pines and house its fleet of racecars, allowing the organization to host both beginner and advanced driver training programs. Professional drivers from around the world have been involved in the track’s design process.

While track time and amenity access for club members are prioritized, there will be special events for members of the community to attend. Roaring Pines will host corporate gatherings as well as charity car shows and fundraisers.

“It is very important to be engaged with the community and give back,” said the elder Lagasse.

Roaring Pines is conveniently situated beside Palatka-Kay Larkin Airport, making it easy to fly in and out. The club is an hour from Jacksonville, Daytona and Gainesville, and just 35 minutes from St. Augustine. Its location makes it an ideal destination for visitors who want to enjoy everything the surrounding areas have to offer.

The Lagasses are dedicated to ensuring that the track and facility will be among the world’s best of its type of facility. They are excited about their next steps and anticipate opening Roaring Pines Motor Club in 2028. To learn more and stay up to date on the club’s progress, go to RoaringPinesMotorClub.com.
