The 2025 Sing Out Loud Festival concluded on Sept. 28 following a month-long celebration of live music, conservation and community in St. Johns County. The festival featured 16 days of events, 202 performers across 17 venues, drew more than 34,000 attendees from around the world and raised more than $130,000 for conservation efforts in St. Johns County.
Sing Out Loud showcased a wide spectrum of talent from internationally acclaimed artists to emerging local acts.
The festival’s signature Live Wildly Showcase at Francis Field on Sept. 20 and 21 united 12 headliners from global stars like Hozier, Beabadoobee and Vance Joy to fan favorites including The Teskey Brothers, Rilo Kiley, Father John Misty, Maren Morris, Gigi Perez, David Kushner, Sarah Kinsley, Brenn! and special guest Sombr. Music fans traveled from all 50 states and 12 countries to attend the Live Wildly Showcase, a testament to the festival’s growing reputation as a premier destination event in St. Johns County.
Alongside its major headliners, Sing Out Loud Festival spotlighted local and regional talent each weekend by presenting 157 acts during the free Local Artist Showcases held at multiple venues across St. Johns County, while 32 singer-songwriters performed during the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival which took place the last weekend of September.
Beloved community events like the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival Concert Series, St. Augustine Night Market, The St. Augustine Record Fair and the Music Business Panel were also included.
Additional highlights of the festival were late-night performances by Gigi Perez and Vance Joy, who performed an intimate set at Spinster Abbott’s and An Evening with Chuck Leavell at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.
Sing Out Loud once again partnered with Live Wildly to bring awareness to and raise funds for the protection of Florida’s wild spaces. Through ticket sales to the Live Wildly Showcase and An Evening with Chuck Leavell, more than $130,000 was raised for land conservation in St. Johns County.
“What began as a handful of stages for local artists has grown into a festival that still proudly champions local talent while pairing them with massive headliners and a mission,” said Gabe Pellicer, CEO and president of SJC Cultural Events, Inc., the 501c3 organization that produces Sing Out Loud Festival. “It’s remarkable to see thousands of people from around the world experience St. Johns County during Sing Out Loud, enjoying live music while supporting conservation.”
More than 30 local businesses and nonprofits also contributed to the success of this year’s festival, underscoring Sing Out Loud’s deep connection to the St. Johns County community.
From the Ink & Barley pop-up tattoo studio and local conservation organizations on-site at the Live Wildly Showcase to the 17 music venues that hosted shows, community partners brought St. Johns County’s culture and offerings to life for attendees from near and far.
