St. Augustine Songwriters Festival returning with lineup of chart-topping hitmakers

In partnership with Sing Out Loud Festival and Bozard Ford Lincoln, the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival will return to historic downtown St. Augustine on Sept. 27-29. The festival offers music lovers a look into the creative processes and inspiring stories behind the hits penned by some of the leading songwriters.

This year's festival will feature more than 30 artists whose works have reached the pinnacle of the charts and numerous accolades. Artists include Brett James, who has had more than 800 songs recorded by some of the biggest artists in the world; Rivers Rutherford whose name is on songs by Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton and others; Liz Rose, a frequent collaborator of Taylor Swift; and Gretchen Peters who has written songs for Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, The Neville Brothers, George Strait, Faith Hill and more.

More than 70 performances will take place at multiple venues including the Colonial Oak Music Park, Prohibition Kitchen, Tradewinds Lounge and The St. Augustine Distillery. All events are free and open to the public.
