Back by popular demand: 1964: The Tribute. Rebirth Brass Band concert

Beach clean-up day

A beach clean-up day will take place Saturday April 9 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach. The clean-up is hosted by Coastal Conscience, a local environmental conservation group that is using the event as a launch party for the organization. There will be prize raffles along with goodie bags for the kids. Legacy Trust Ponte Vedra Home and Art Tour

The 6th annual Legacy Trust Home and Art Tour, a self-guided tour feasting five homes in the Ponte Vedra and Jacksonville Beach area, is Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The tour is open to children ages 11 and over and adults; children under 11 are not permitted. General admission tickets for the home tour are $35, and are available online at www.ccpvb.org and at the Cultural Center during regular business hours. Tickets are also available at the following locations: Luxury for Less, 830 A1A N., Suite 12, Ponte Vedra Beach; J Turner & Co., 280 Village Main St., Suite 990, Ponte Vedra Beach; Mineral City, 240 A1A N., Ponte Vedra Beach; and Pearl Home, 791 Third St. N., Jacksonville Beach. Tickets are available now through the day of tour. The Cultural Center will also be open at 9 a.m. on the day of the tour for day of event ticket purchases.

Proceeds benefit the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach art and education programs.

Meeting of The Great Minds

An evening of six free sets of Americana music presented by the Gamble Rogers Board Members will take place Saturday, April 9 at The Lohman Auditorium of The Whitney Laboratory For Marine Bioscience, 9505 Ocean Shore Blvd., St. Augustine.

The event features Bob Patterson and Charlie Simmons, John Dickie, Jamie Defrates, Jim and Patty Spingfield, Mike Lagasse and Paul Linser with Ed Lowe. There will also be light refreshments, raffle and merchandise sales. Donations accepted. All proceeds support music education. Florida Chamber Music Project

On Sunday April 10, the Florida Chamber Music Project will present its final concert of the season featuring music from Beethoven and Mendelssohn.
