Jon Yarbrough won the annual Bruce Edwards Memorial Caddie Competition May 11, hitting his tee shot to 5 feet, 3 inches from 135 yards on the 17th hole at The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.
Yarbrough, caddie for Hunter Mahan, was awarded a one-of-a-kind framed piece of 17th hole artwork by PGA Tour Scoring Official Casey Jones. He also received an engraved money clip, a TPC Sawgrass clubhouse parking pass for the remainder of THE PLAYERS Championship week and an undisclosed monetary award provided by the player field. The PGA TOUR matched the player donation, with proceeds going to the Bruce Edwards Foundation for ALS Research.
