Advanced Disposal recently presented $2,500 scholarships to two newly graduated seniors from Ponte Vedra High School.

New graduates Meg Barnhorst and William O’Hara were the recipients of Advanced Disposal’s 2016 SALC (Scholastics, Athletics, Leadership, Character) scholarships. Barnhorst will attend Georgetown University in the fall, while O’Hara will begin his studies at Notre Dame University.

“Advanced Disposal’s mission is to be ‘Driven to Deliver’ for our customers, team members and the communities we serve," Advanced Disposal CEO Richard Burke said. “We are confident Ms. Barnhorst and Mr. O’Hara will continue to deliver personally and professionally in the future and we wish them the very best.”

Each year, a Ponte Vedra High School review committee selects one male and one female student from the graduating senior class to receive the SALC scholarships.
