An All Soul’s Day Service, to be held in remembrance of those who have died, will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Christ Episcopal Church at 400 San Juan Dr., Ponte Vedra Beach.
Open to the public and free of charge, it will feature the music of Z. Randall Stroope, internationally known composer. Stroope’s music is written with great depth, insight, wisdom, and love, and he combines text and music to create a wonderfully crafted work of emotional beauty and deep substance.
Candles will be lit in remembrance of those who have died.
“It is for those who have lost a loved one,” said Music Director Rachel Root. “Because it gives them an opportunity to honor them and reflect upon them and to know the hope we have of eternal life. It reminds us we are all connected. We are all one. Those on earth and those in heaven.”
While they event is free, offerings will be accepted and will be donated to Community Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeast Florida.
