This project is open to all St. Johns County students in kindergarten through 12th grade, whether they attend public school, private school or are home-schooled.

“We received more than 1,000 entries last year, and hope to engage even more students this year,” said Betty Griffin Center CEO Joyce Mahr. “Through the contest, we’re able to introduce many students to the importance of nonviolence – and create a calendar that keeps the issue top-of-mind among students and the general public throughout the year, since its distributed to every classroom in St. Johns County.
