Planet Swim to open Nocatee training facility
An outdoor training/competition pool, indoor teaching pool and two indoor flow pools will be among the offerings at a new Planet Swim training facility set to open in Nocatee later this year.
To be located adjacent to Davis Park near Ponte Vedra High School, the new facility will offer swimming instruction as well as training facilities for competitive swimmers. According to an announcement on the Nocatee residents blog, the location for the new facility was selected for its proximity to Davis Park’s sports and nearby schools for hosting competitions.
Founded in 2009, the Ponte Vedra-based Planet Swim attributes its success to its trained staff and curriculum that employs new technologies such as stroke analysis software and neuroscience applications to enhance motor learning.
“We believe that the combination of our expertise with Nocatee will result in ultimate success,” Planet Swim Founder and CEO Gus Calado said. “We are thrilled to expand our services to the Nocatee community and beyond excited for the upcoming preparations leading to the Fall 2017 grand opening!”
PPR Talent Management launches Hueman recruitment, staffing agencies
PPR Talent Management Group has spun off two new businesses, launching Hueman as a new recruitment firm in Jacksonville Beach.
Hueman will serve as the parent company of two business lines: Hueman RPO (recruitment process outsourcing) and Hueman Risk Adjustment Staffing. Hueman RPO was formerly PPR Talent Solutions, while Hueman Risk Adjustment Staffing was formerly PPR Risk Adjustment Staffing.
With 110 employees, Hueman will be headquartered in the former Harmonious Monks space at 320 First St. N. in Jacksonville Beach. Hueman was established by the founders of PPR Talent Management Group under the leadership of CEO Dwight Cooper.
