The Children’s Home Society of Florida’s (CHS) 35th Annual Caring Chefs event raised more than $125,000 to help more children and families realize their full potential.

Nearly 50 restaurants and 1,500 guests gathered Nov. 4 in The Avenues Mall for an evening of food, fun and fundraising. Together, sponsors, restaurants and ticket-holders supported CHS’ core solutions in early childhood, behavioral health, child welfare and community solutions, which includes Community Partnership Schools. The event also included more than 220 corporate and community volunteers.

“Caring Chefs is CHS’ main fundraiser with proceeds going directly to help keep more families safe, strong and together,” CHS Regional Executive Director Tracy McDade said. “We’re tremendously grateful for our community’s support in making the event a success for 35 years.”
