Cash in on theme park deals

More than one in four Florida travelers (27 percent) plan to take a theme park vacation lasting three or more days according to a recent AAA Consumer Pulse survey™, a 29 percent increase over last year.

Increased consumer confidence, rising income and low unemployment is driving an increase in spending in areas such as, travel, entertainment and dining out.

“Savvy shoppers looking for theme park deals should buy now,” said Belinda Dabrowski, managing director, AAA Partnership Development, The Auto Club Group. “Many theme parks are offering multi-day or annual passes at deeply discounted rates for Florida residents. AAA Members can save even more money when they purchase these tickets or passes from AAA.”

Here are a few of the theme park deals available for Floridians. 

Walt Disney World

• Florida resident Discover Disney three- and four-day ticket promotion 
• Prices range from $157.99 to $215.25, a savings of up to $41 off the gate price of standard Florida resident three and four-day tickets
• On sale through June 20.

Universal Orlando Resorts 

• Florida residents receive three months free on the two and three park preferred and Power Annual passes.
• Prices range from $309.99 to $433.99
• On sale Jan. 9 to April 24.

Busch Gardens Tampa/Adventure Island

• AAA members can purchase a Busch Gardens 2018 Fun Card for $97.99 and get an Adventure Island 2018 Fun Card Free - a savings of $7 per card
• On sale through March 25.

LEGOLAND Florida

• AAA members can purchase a one-day park entry for $51.99 - a $42 savings per ticket. 
• Tickets on sale through Feb. 28.
