Tickets are now available for the annual “Delicious Destinations” food and wine weekend, to be held Sept. 8-10 at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club.
A highlight of this year’s event will be the presence of celebrity chef David Guas, host and judge of the “American Grilled” show on the Travel Channel. A New Orleans native, Guas is the owner of Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery, which now has two locations in the Washington, DC area. His first cookbook, “DamGoodSweet,” was a James Beard Award finalist.
Guas will join executive chefs from the Mar-a-Lago Club, the Greenbrier, Ritz Carlton Amelia Island and more in presenting culinary delights at the Celebrity Chef by the Sea Luncheon Sept. 8. The Delicious Destinations Gala will occur Sept. 10, with food and wine pairings provided by Southern Wine & Spirits of North Florida.
