Expansion, renovation plans underway for Vicar’s Landing, Oak Bridge

Construction to add 238 senior residential units

Vicar’s Landing retirement community recently announced plans for a land lease and intentions to expand. The new project, named Vicar’s Landing at Oak Bridge, includes 178 independent homes and 60 assisted living and memory care apartments.

In addition to the Vicar’s Landing Oak Bridge units, there will be significant renovations made to the golf course, new pickleball courts, tennis court renovation and updates to 3 Palms Grille.  The combined projects are estimated to exceed $130 million invested in the Ponte Vedra Beach community and will create approximately 100 new jobs in the area.

“It is incredible to see what a community can do when they come together,” said Dave Miller, owner of Oak Bridge. “We hope to meet the evolving needs of the Ponte Vedra community and will work hard to bring this project to fruition,” he said.

While the groundbreaking for Vicar’s Landing at Oak Bridge is planned for 2021, the renovations to Oak Bridge golf course are well underway, with planned completion later this year.

“We are part of the fabric of Ponte Vedra Beach and we are excited to continue that same level of excellence for more seniors right here in our beachside neighborhood,” said Bruce Jones, chief executive officer of Vicar’s Landing.
