THE PLAYERS Championship is under 50 days away from returning to TPC Sawgrass March 12-17, 2019, and the tournament is now offering a family plan package to make the tournament more affordable.
The Family Plan package offers additional savings and benefits for families seeking a day at THE PLAYERS. Families get two adult Stadium Passes, unlimited youth admission and two $10 concession vouchers. The Family Plan is $120 for Thursday and $140 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday (taxes not included).
In addition, the Family Plan is being sold at 30 participating Daily’s convenience stores through March 17, until all tickets are sold, and at THEPLAYERS.com through March 1.
Here are a few things to know before attending THE PLAYERS with your family:
· Opaque bags measuring 6x6x6 inches and smaller or clear bags 12x6x12 inches and smaller are allowed inside the course grounds.
· THE PLAYERS branded clear bags will be sold at the 30 participating Daily’s convenience stores that are selling The Family Plan. The bags cost $5, and the money is donated to The First Tee of Northeast Florida.
· THE PLAYERS allows fans to bring in their own food in a 1-gallon clear, plastic bag where food items are also wrapped in clear wrap.
· Fans can refill their empty water bottles at the filtered water stations throughout the course. This policy does not allow fans to bring in outside water bottles and/or beverages.
· Strollers, small diaper bags, plastic baby bottles and other essential baby supplies are permitted. The infant must be with the carrier. Items are subject to search.
· There is no limit for the number of youth (18 and under) admitted FREE with one ticketed adult.
Parking is not included with ticket purchases Thursday through Sunday. All parking on Tuesday and Wednesday is free. Spectators are encouraged to plan transportation in advance. Cars with four or more passengers park for free under THE PLAYERS “Four for Free” policy (download vouchers at https://theplayersparking.clickandpark.com).
Volunteering at THE PLAYERS is a unique avenue for not only golf fans, but also for those looking to support an event that gives millions of dollars back to the community and to become part of the team that works tirelessly to make the tournament a showcase of excellence.
