Sing Out Loud Festival will present Amp After Parties, a new series of late-night after-parties held at Ponce De Le Rollin, St. Augustine’s roller rink. Running Friday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Sept. 27, the series follows three of Sing Out Loud Festival’s marquee shows at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, giving fans a place to keep the night going with local and touring talent.
Presented in part by the St. Johns Cultural Council and the St. Johns County TDC, these events are free and open to all ages.
Friday, Sept. 25 Following Flipturn's performance at The Amp, local talent takes the stage with Armadillo Operator and Pocket Knife Dance Party from 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Admission is free.
Saturday, Sept. 26
Following Alkaline Trio and Rise Against at The Amp, Northeast Florida’s The Cure cover band, The Smiths (Robert), performs, along with a DJ set from Dan Andriano of Alkaline Trio. The event will be held from 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Admission is free.
Sunday, Sept. 27
This event rounds out the weekend after the St. Augustine Record Fair presented by Tonevendor at The Amp. The night opens with a DJ set from Sasha Bloom, moves into a solo acoustic set from local opener Teresa Rose and closes with Brooklyn-based indie rock band Slippers headlining. Event: 8-10 p.m. Admission is free.
