Chef Tommy McDonough officially cut the ribbon opening his new Ponte Vedra Beach sandwich shop, Flavor Palette, last week. Members of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce welcomed McDonough and his family to their new restaurant, located in the Ponte Vedra Pointe Shopping Center at 880 A1A N, Suite 9. In addition to Ponte Vedra Beach Division Director Lin Jones, chamber officials on hand included Lucia Miller, the chamber’s visitor center coordinator.

Guests enjoyed a variety of samplings of Flavor Palette’s menu offerings, including its homemade gelatos.

“I just want to make people happy and I do that by giving them true flavor to enjoy,” McDonough told guests.

Flavor Palette’s customer base has already grown since its recent soft opening, he noted, and said the restaurant is looking forward to introducing its homemade soups, salads and signature sandwiches to local residents.
