Casa Marina’s Annual Haunted Hotel Party

At Casa Marina’s Annual Halloween guests can expect a live DJ, chilling drink specials and a costume contest with spooky prizes. The event is 21+ and includes a free drink voucher with purchase of a ticket.
Halloween Karaoke and Costume Party

Where: Southern Kitchen and Bar, Jacksonville Beach
Southern Kitchen and Bar’s karaoke contest is sure to leave you breathless as you sing for a chance to win $600 in cash prizes. The outdoor area will keep you warm with a firepit, while a live DJ keeps the party going inside. Full bar and an adult-themed piñata are also available.
Haunted Halloween at the Hilltop
When: 7-10 p.m., Oct. 30
Where: The Hilltop Restaurant, Orange Park
Hosted by the Veterans Village of Northeast Florida, this Halloween party/costume contest is part of a fundraising initiative at the Hilltop Restaurant. Tickets are $30 in advance and include access to music, games, dance contests, raffles, free appetizers and more.
Haunt Nights at Adventure Landing
When: 7:30-10 p.m., Oct. 30 and Oct. 31
Where: Adventure Landing, Jacksonville Beach
Brave the four self-guided, dark attractions at Adventure Landing if you dare. Over 60 actors come together to bring monsters to life in houses like “Clown Takeover,” “Pinehurst Asylum,” “Containment” and “Descent.” For their last weekend of the season, Adventure Landing promises the most frightful event yet.
Jumbo Shrimp Fall Festival
When: Noon-4 p.m., Oct. 31
Where: 121 Financial Ballpark, Jacksonville
The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are kicking off the start of fall with a celebration for the whole family. Compete in costume contests, mummy wrapping contests, pumpkin mini-golf and a neck-pillow toss too. Full concessions and beverages will be available for purchase after entrance fee.
Boo-Hound Halloween Party!
When: 4-8 p.m., Oct. 31
Where: Brewhound Dog Park + Bar, Neptune Beach
Turn your four-legged friends into ghosts for the day to compete in this doggy costume contest at Brewhound Dog Park + Bar. The most creative pups can win memberships, bar tabs, and other exciting prizes. For the humans, goodie bags, food, photo-ops and games are included, as well as a trick-or-treat station for kids.
Haunted Halloween Night Kayak Tour
When: 6-8 p.m., Oct. 31
Where: Amelia Island Adventures Kayaking, Fernandina Beach
Bask in the light of the full moon on this nighttime kayaking adventure. The guided journey takes guests down a peaceful creek as the full moon rises on the horizon. The tour runs for $55 per person, or adventurers can bring their own kayaks for $20.
Main Event’s Halloween Event
When: Noon-4 p.m., Oct. 31
Where: Main Event Jacksonville
At this family friendly event, children decked out in their best costumes have the opportunity to win two contests, Most Original HAHAlloween (funniest) and Scariest Cutest, where the winner receives one year of free laser tag. Besides the costume contest, attendees can also enjoy pumpkin decorating, games and a free candy bag.
Blu By U Fall Festival
When: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Oct. 31
Where: 5571 Long Branch Road, Jacksonville
Embrace the change of the season at Blu By U’s inaugural fall festival, complete with live music, yard games, food trucks, a petting zoo, and much more. Take some time to learn about hydroponic gardening or meander over to a demonstration on catch-and-release fishing. The event is $5 per vehicle.
The Haunted Waters
When: 8:15 p.m. Oct. 30 and Oct. 31
Where: St Augustine Municipal Marina
The Schooner Freedom is bringing back its haunted sails for this Halloween season. Spirits on the Schooner 75-minute sail will feature classic stories of St. Augustine’s most haunted maritime history, including the historic massacre on the shore of the Matanzas, the story of the haunted natives at the coquina pits, and the tragic tale of Andrew Ransom. Halloween at St. Augustine Aquarium

Where: St. Augustine Aquarium
The St. Augustine Aquarium is offering a special outdoors Halloween event with trick or treating, a costume contest and more. Halloween activities at this event include face painting, outdoor movies and a nature trail. The aquarium is also planning some unique water activities — night-time snorkeling, mermaids and even underwater pumpkin carving! The event is free with regular admission: $10 for adults and $6 for children. The snorkeling adventure is $39 per person.
