Hope at Hand inviting local students to participate in third annual poetry contest

All high school students are invited to be an active part of the third annual Jax Poetry Fest.

Each April, Hope at Hand hosts a poetry festival to celebrate National Poetry Month. Students may submit one poem of no more than 15 lines on any subject and in any style except concrete or blackout poetry. The content of the poem must not be vulgar, offensive or contain profanity.

The contest is open to both public and private high school students, and poems must be original, individual work of the entrant. Go to hopeathand.org to apply and submit by March 9, 2018.
