Skydiving can be both an expensive and scary endeavor. With those fearful of heights, it’s hard to even imagine intentionally jumping off a plane at approximately 13,000 feet. For those wanting to feel that same adrenaline rush, but aren’t quite ready to take the leap, there’s iFly.
iFly is one of Jacksonville’s latest attractions that opened its doors in November of 2018. It’s an indoor skydiving facility that allows guests to achieve the thrill of flying within an air-blasting tunnel and with an experienced instructor. Guests ages free and up are welcome to try this safe, supervised and unique experience while making memories with friends and family.
Once guests check in, they’ll go through orientation to prepare for the action. After, guests will receive their flight suits and helmets and will be ready to fly.
Guests will be suspended in mid-air, learning to fly, flip, roll all over the tunnel, so iFly staff suggest wearing comfortable clothing, close-toed shoes and to leave any loose objects such as earrings, necklaces, watches and hair accessories at home. Learn to skydive in one of the tunnels or even take it a step further and use the virtual reality helmet to fly across the world.
iFly also offers multiple packages for group events like birthdays, company events or other social outings, and offer flight enhancements and food and beverage catering options.
