James Keith Inman, 53, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at Baptist Beaches Hospital in Jacksonville Beach.

Keith was born June 8, 1964, in Gaffney, South Carolina, to Lila Grace (McDowell) Baker and James Pridmore Inman. He grew up in Gaffney of the Baptist faith and enjoyed family vacations to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He graduated from Gaffney High School in 1982 and then attended the University of South Carolina on a golf scholarship. He obtained degrees in computer science and accounting and worked in the technology field. 

In his spare time, Keith enjoyed surfing, golfing, snowboarding, skateboarding and time at the beach and pool. He was a Gamecock football fan and an Eagle Scout. He loved animals, especially his pet dogs Sayde, Sissy and Ace, and cats Kiki, Tabby and Chubs.

Keith is survived by his wife, Corrie (Missy) Miles Inman; son, Zeryn Inman of Ponte Vedra Beach; mother, Lila Grace (Carl) Baker; father, James (Anne) Inman; sister, Kathy (Mark) Bradley; niece, Danelle (Lloyd) Hink; nephew, Blake Bradley, of Gaffney, South Carolina; mother-in-law, Ella Jo Miles; brother-in-law, Eric Miles, and niece, Kylie Miles of Chipley, Florida, along with several stepbrothers and stepsisters, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life memorial is being planned for friends and family for a future date. The family will be spreading his ashes at sea since as he was an avid surfer and loved the ocean.
