LaGrange College junior Logan Lanier is an All-American golfer.
The Bartram Trail High School graduate was cited as a first-team All-American after tying for sixth at the NCAA Division III Championship. In addition to that coveted honor, he was the team’s lone selection on the Golf Coaches Association of America Division III all-Southeast Region team.
He was the USA South Athletic Conference player of the year and an all-conference first-team selection. He led the conference with a 72.1 stroke average in 25 rounds and had five top-five efforts.
Lanier was named to the all-tournament team for his play at the conference championship, where he led the team with a 223 (76-76-71) and finished fourth.

LaGrange junior Anthony Scolapio was named to the all-USA South second team. The Ponte Vedra High alumnus had a 75.7 stroke average, second on the team, in 22 rounds.
USC Aiken junior pitcher Brooks Calvo was 1-1 with a 5.92 earned run average in 11 appearances. The Allen D. Nease product will pitch for the Florence RedWolves of the Coastal Plain League this summer, according to the RedWolves online site.
South Georgia State College pitcher Cayden Hatcher was 6-2 with a team-best 2.30 earned run average in 13 appearances. The sophomore is a past Shark.
Senior captain Rachel Pewitt was Rhodes College's lone representative on the all-Southern Athletic Association Conference first team. The catcher and infielder out of Ponte Vedra High hit .371 in 43 games. She led the team with seven home runs, third in the conference, and 40 runs batted in, fifth in the conference. She finishes her Rhodes career with 158 games and 158 started, both second in the program's history. She ranks fifth in the school's record book with 108 RBIs.
Washington and Lee University senior attacker Melissa Coggins has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Chesapeake Region second team. The Bartram Trail graduate is on the all-Old Dominion Athletic Conference first team. She led the team with 44 points, including a team-high 27 assists. She added 17 goals.
