            Redshirt senior Mac Reynolds has been among University of Florida’s top men’s cross country runners. The Allen D. Nease High School graduate placed third among the Gators in Saturday’s NCAA Pre-Nationals 8K. He finished in 25 minutes, 42 seconds.

            He was second among the Gators and third overall in the first meet, the Covered Bridge Open 6.4K.

More men’s cross country

            Freshman Colin Brant was fourth among Rollins College entries in the FLRunners.com Invitational. He is out of Bartram Trail.

Men’s soccer roster

            Senior forward Trice Smith, a Ponte Vedra Beach resident, started seven of 11 games for Humboldt State University.

            Junior midfielder Michael Melvin had one assist in 10 games for Clemson University. He is from Nease.

            Out of Ponte Vedra High, midfielder Briggs Hurley started eight of 11 games for Principia College. He had two goals and a team-high five assists.

            Sophomore goalkeeper Chase Herzog had a 2-2 record in four games for Georgia Southern. The former Shark had a 1.50 goals against average.

            Senior Taylor Hayes started nine of 11 games for Millsaps College. The Nease alumnus had one goal, a game winner against Berry.

            Freshman goalkeeper Aaron Zellner was 2-1 in four games for Belmont Abbey College. Another from Nease, he had a 0.53 goals against average.

Women’s cross country

            Past Bear Hannah Giangaspro finished the Crimson Classic 6K in 26:20. She is a junior for University of South Carolina.

            Florida State University junior Bella Poole completed the FSU Invitational 5K in 19:47. She competed for Ponte Vedra.

Women’s golf

            Purdue University senior August Kim tied for fourth at the Windy City Collegiate Championship. The Nease graduate carded a 212 (70-72-70).            Ponte Vedra High product Hannah Berman competed as an individual at the Ross Resorts Invitational and shot a 256 (82-85-89). She is a University of Florida freshman.
