Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Jacksonville received a furniture donation from the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Jacksonville to support the nonprofit organization’s expansion.

Comprised of 26 sleeper sofas and living room furnishings valued at approximately $30,000, the donation will be used in the new family suites recently unveiled at the Ronald McDonald House and in several of the common areas.

“This generous donation from La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Jacksonville helps us further our mission to provide a comfortable and welcoming interim home for families in need,” said Diane Boyle, executive director of RMHC of Jacksonville. “We are truly grateful to have the support of Mr. Tom DeGoey, Mr. David Valentine and La-Z-Boy as our community partner, and we appreciate that they share our dedication in providing comfort to our precious families.”

La-Z-Boy is the official furniture provider of Ronald McDonald House programs and Ronald McDonald Family Room programs nationwide. In Jacksonville, La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Jacksonville is a longtime donor.
