Reflecting on 2025, The Panther Regiment had a busy year. Starting in August, the band learned their new show for 2025, “Dance, Love, Believe.” Between marching practices and supporting the Nease football team at games and into the playoffs, the band even had time for their fall mulch fundraiser and delivered mulch to everyone in our community that purchased mulch.

The Panther Regiment went to the Battle on the Border Competition and performed their 2025 show titled, “Dance, Love, Believe,” and placed seventh overall. No sooner had they come back from that competition than the band performed at the Marching Band MPA (Music Performance Assessment) held at Fletcher High School. The Panther Regiment performed their 2025 show titled, “Dance, Love, Believe,” and scored superior in all six categories and ended with a final rating of “superior.” The Panther Regiment being one of only six marching bands (out of 22 total bands) to score “superior” in all six categories.

After the end of marching season, things slow down a bit and it was a fitting time to honor those seniors graduating in 2026. The Panther Regiment rounded out the year with a winter concert at Nease High School complete with hot chocolate, cookies an ugly sweater contest and multiple concerts.

Looking forward into 2026, there are MPAs (Music Performance Assessments), a spring concert and other activities the band is preparing for. As for fundraisers, the spring mulch drive has started, and mulch orders can be placed until March 18.
