New York Times bestselling author Greg Iles will be at The BookMark Thursday, March 30 at 7 p.m. to discuss and sign copies of his new book, “Mississippi Blood.”
In the final volume of the “Natchez Burning” trilogy, endgame is near for Penn Cage and the enemies working to destroy him as Iles brings the story of blood, honor, violence and revenge to an end.
Grief-stricken and desiring revenge, Cage sees his world fall apart around him – the love of his life is gone, his principles have been compromised and his father, Dr. Tom Cage, is about to be tried for murder. Seemingly bent on self-destruction, Dr. Cage has pushed his son away, preferring the risk of death in prison to revealing the truth. The respected surgeon may not be what he seems. In his conclusion, Iles illuminates the history of the American South, delivering the resolution fans have awaited.
Iles spent most of his youth in Natchez, Mississippi. His first novel, “Spandau Phoenix,” was the first of 13 New York Times bestsellers. His novels have been made into films and published in more than 35 countries. He is a member of the lit-rock group, “The Rock Bottom Remainders.” He currently lives in Natchez with his wife and has two children.
