Nocatee neighborhood hosts grand opening and tour of model homes

New Nocatee neighborhoods Pioneer Village and Freedom Landing at Crosswater made their debut Feb. 8 with a family-friendly grand opening for the community.

Located at the Pioneer Village Model Park at 100 Pioneer Village Drive, the grand opening event lasted from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and featured “fun for the whole family” with live music and a barber shop quartet, life-sized yard games and a tour of 13 model homes.

The celebration had a classic car display, strolling magicians, stilt walkers, balloon animals, food and drinks and even a St. Johns County fire truck parked there for the occasion.

Guests were also given a Crosswater “passport” that they could exchange for a free lunch voucher after the tour, once all passport locations were stamped or signed off.
