North Florida Stealth U14 win 3 of 4 at USSSA tournament

`The North Florida Stealth 14 and under competitive team from Ponte Vedra Girls Softball came out swinging April 9 at USSSA’s April Anarchy tournament in Madison, FL. The team outscored its opponents 42-11, winning three out of four seed games. The team’s only loss came to the North Florida Stars by a score of 2-1. In the championship game, a rematch against the Stars, the Stars came out scoring once again in the first inning. The score stayed 1-0 until the third inning when the Stealth finally put some swings together and scored three runs. They scored three more runs in the 4th, one in the 5th, and one in the 6th to give them an 8-1 lead going into the final inning. Nicole Masanko’s efforts on the mound helped hold the Stars to only two runs with five strikeouts and one walk.
