The North Florida Women’s Chorale will present their 27th annual Christmas performance, “Seven Joys,” Dec. 27 in St. Augustine.
From the haunting melodies of ancient carols to light-hearted contemporary holiday songs, the Chorale will perform seasonal pieces accompanied by a string quartet. The free concert in the beautiful setting of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine was created to remind everyone of Seven Joys we experience during the season.
Bach’s "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring,” selections from "Magnificat" by Kim Andre Anrnesen, "Chanukah Lights", and "Do You Hear What I Hear?” are some of the songs to be featured in the holiday program, which will begin at 7 p.m.
The Cathedral Basilica of St Augustine is located at 38 Cathedral Place, St Augustine.
