OPES students create artwork for Autism Awareness Month
The students in Mrs. Wine's class at Ocean Palms Elementary School recently collaborated to create a colorful work of art in Mrs. Rodriquez's art class. The artwork will be featured at the district office to celebrate Autism Awareness Month in April. The students painted paper in the style of renowned illustrator and writer Eric Carle; the vibrant shapes were pieced together to form a rainbow. Silhouettes of each student completed the piece.
