The Fernandina Pirates Club invaded the Nocatee Farmers Market Saturday. The crew welcomed students aboard the life-sized pirate ship, Amelia’s Revenge, and presented three interactive “pirate school” sessions. The pirates meandered through the market, ate some grub and talked with shoppers.
The next market is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 at Nocatee Station Field adjacent to Splash Park. Local vendors offer organic produce, herbs, spices, unique foods, crafts, jewelry and more. The market is open to the public.
