Ponte Vedra Ballet dancers earn places in summer intensives

The rising stars of ballet are poised to shine as a group of pre professional dancers, ages 9 to 18, from Ponte Vedra Ballet & Dance Company have secured acceptance into some of the nation’s most competitive and distinguished ballet summer intensives for 2026.

These talented young artists, who train year round at Ponte Vedra Ballet & Dance Company, voted 2025 Best of the Beaches Dance Studio, distinguished themselves among thousands of applicants nationwide and abroad. Their placements span many of the country’s most respected programs, where they will receive rigorous training, refine their technique and deepen their artistry under world class faculty.

“This achievement is a testament to the dedication, passion and exceptional talent of our students,” said Dawn Wolf, artistic and executive director. “It takes a community of committed instructors to help our dancers reach their highest potential. … We are immensely proud of their accomplishments, including the partial scholarships they have earned from several of these programs. We look forward to watching their continued growth.”

Students received invitations to renowned programs including: The Royal Ballet School, Covent Garden, London, The Royal Ballet School LA, Ballet West (Utah), John Cranko School, Joffrey Ballet NYC, The Rock School (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), Next Generation Ballet (Tampa), Orlando Ballet, Martha Graham School NYC, School of American Ballet (SAB) NYC, Trentino Music Festival in Italy (Universal Ballet Competition Award Winner) and Ballet Magnificat!

The dancers also attended Universal Ballet Competition in Palm Beach and took the stage at the Youth American Gran Prix in Boca Raton.
