The Ponte Vedra football team defeated Bishop Kenny at home on Friday in the Sharks’ annual spring game.
The varsity Sharks played the first half, beating the Crusaders 28-10. The junior varsity and second-string players competed in the second half and topped Bishop Kenny 13-0.
The game served as the debut appearance for new Ponte Vedra head coach Jeff DiSandro, who previously was the offensive coordinator at Bishop Kenny.
The Sharks will take on the Nease Panthers in the first game of the season Aug. 23.
