First Florida Credit Union will host Taking the Next Step: College-Prep Workshop on Saturday, July 27. The free workshop is designed to help high school juniors and seniors, recent graduates, and their parents prepare for the transition from high school to college. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the credit union’s St. Johns branch, 1950 County Road 210 West.
A local dual-enrollment teacher will join financial experts from First Florida Credit Union to cover topics such as goal-setting and time management, navigating college applications and timelines, and managing finances from a distance to help students stay financially successful while away at school.
“Our First Florida Credit Union team is incredibly excited to introduce this event to the community,” said Ashleigh Robinson, a community relations specialist with the credit union. “This one-day workshop will give attendees important knowledge and practical financial insights that will guide them as they take the next step in their education.”
A light lunch will be provided for event attendees. To reserve a seat at Taking the Next Step:
