The Ponte Vedra High School Marching Band earned second place at the 2025 FFCC Florida Outdoor Championship, marking one of the strongest competitive finishes in the program’s history. The championship event, held this weekend, brought together top marching ensembles from across the state.
Under the direction of Daniel Lezcano, the ensemble delivered a high-energy, technically challenging performance that impressed judges and showcased months of dedicated training, teamwork, early-morning rehearsals and artistic growth.
The PVHS band continues to build a strong reputation in St. John’s County and throughout Florida for its musical excellence and creative performance design. The band’s leadership, families and supporters hope to see the students’ accomplishments recognized locally.
