St. Johns County will begin accepting Beach Toll Attendant applications between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on January 6, 8 and 10. Anyone interested in the seasonal position should go in person to the Beach Services Office, 901 Pope Rd., St. Augustine, to obtain and complete an application. The season will begin in March and end the last weekend in October, with orientation and training in February. Toll attendants will be responsible for selling vehicle beach access passes and providing customer service for St. Johns County beach visitors.
