The St. Johns County School District, RSVP of St. Johns County and other local mentor groups will host a mentor fair 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5 at the Fullerwood Center Auditorium, 10 Hildreth Dr., St. Augustine.
Representatives will be on hand to provide information about mentoring students in the SJCSD. Mentor training will also be provided to interested individuals and a continental breakfast will be served.
Mentors give approximately 45 minutes per week to meet with a student and support him or her in academic pursuits and other goals.
No prior experience is needed, and background screenings and training are provided at no cost.
