St. Johns County Public Library launches WWI genealogy research study group

The St. Johns County Public Library and Denise Olson, president of the St. Augustine Genealogical Society, have created a World War I genealogy research group to assist people who would like to know more about their military ancestry.

The group will meet from 12:30—2:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month through May 5 at the Southeast Branch Library, 6670 U.S. 1 South, St. Augustine.

Participants will have access to and assistance with a variety of resources and records on military service. Everyone is welcome, but registration is required. Register in person at the Southeast Library or call (904) 827-6900.
