The residents of Starling at Nocatee Independent Living community donated funds to purchase bicycles to support the “Firefighters for Families” Toy Drive, benefiting St. Johns County families. In total, 18 children will receive a gift on two wheels this year from the generous donations of the Starling residents. Starling resident John Saunders said, “This holiday season is filled with so much chaos with the virus. I wondered what I could do to help kids at Christmas this year? Bicycles was the answer!” Starling at Nocatee offered special thanks to Scott Saunders, who donated his time and truck to transport the new bicycles to Starling.
