In the spirit of THE PLAYERS Championship, the First Coast YMCA will host its 5th annual benefit concert, “The After Partee,” May 11 to support the Y’s Safety Around Water program, which teaches kids water safety skills.

To be held on the first day of tournament play from 6 to 10 p.m. at Crosswater Hall in Nocatee, the pool party-inspired concert will feature music from The Chris Thomas Band, DJ E.L. and Jordyn Stoddard, as well as food, drinks, a silent auction and other fun activities.

Chris Thomas is not only known for his voice and diverse repertoire, performing everything from Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder to Earth Wind & Fire and Justin Timerberlake. DJ E.L. has performed for the Jacksonville Armada FC and Jaguars, and was voted best DJ by Void Magazine, Radio Now 97.9 and Folio Weekly. Stoddard, meanwhile, was named 2013 Local Artist of the Year by WQIK-FM country radio in Jacksonville, with her single, “Sayonara,” selected as the 2013 Local Song of the Year.

General admission tickets, which include one drink ticket and light appetizers, are $30, while VIP tickets offering access to an open bar and heavy appetizers are $100. Super tickets including one VIP ticket and a grounds ticket to any one day of THE PLAYERS are $150. Tickets are available at First Coast YMCA locations or online at YMCAafterpartee2017.eventbrite.com.
