Residents of the Palms at Ponte Vedra enjoyed a Mother’s Day Tea on Sunday, May 13 to celebrate the occasion.

The annual event gathered over 100 people, including residents of the memory care and assisted living facilities, as well as their family members. Attendees enjoyed an array of food, including oyster shooters, smoked salmon and chicken salad sandwiches, as well as chocolate-covered strawberries, cheesecake bites and other desserts created by the culinary team at the Palms.

In addition to live entertainment, attendees of the event enjoyed hearing from various family members who shared touching stories about the residents. The Palms also honored moms at the event with the most children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One mom in attendance was even honored for having a great-great-grandchild. Another mom was honored for having the most “experience” as a mother. One of the facility’s nurses also shared a poem.
